What it is
Take years off naturally with platelet Rich plasma, or PRP. The platelets work by stimulating the skin’s production of collagen and healing old skin tissue, giving you a tighter, brighter, healthier look.
What to expect
PRP +
Micro-needling or laser: Rejuvenate the appearance of your skin when PRP is added to the procedure to experience enhanced results, improved elasticity, increased collagen production, with a much shorter healing time as a result of the extra boost of tissue-regenerating cells
Injectable: use PRP as a standalone injectable or combine PRP therapy with dermal fillers to increase the collagen production in the skin. It is useful in common problem areas such as the tear trough in the lower eyelids, smile and laugh lines.
Hair restoration: PRP is injected into the scalp to trigger hair growth.
Follow our recommendations for optimal results
Micro-needling:3-5 spaced 4 weeks apart
Injectable: 2-3 treatments spaced 3 months apart.
Hair restoration: 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart with maintenance treatments 1-2 times per year
We recommend follow up Treatments once-twice per year for maintenance.
Downtime
Micro-needling: return to work and normal activities the day after treatment.
Laser: there will be redness and swelling, typically 4-6 days post procedure, but combined with PRP will accelerate your healing time to 2-3 days.
Injectable: there will be swelling 2-3 days post procedure
Hair restoration: no downtime
The process
A small vial of blood is taken from your arm, then blood is spun in a centrifuge machine to remove the platelets. The plasma from the blood is extracted and applied to the client’s face, using a microneedeling procedure to rejuvenate the skin, or as an injectable to stimulate collagen or hair follicle growth.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments can be added to Sublative Laser Skin Treatment and Microneedling to boost the effects of your procedure and reduce healing time.
